Kuwait national swimming team will head to Dubai on Monday to take part in the 12th GCC Swimming Championship that will kick off on Wednesday, with the participation of all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' teams.
Director of the team Fayez Al-Tawheed said in remarks to KUNA today that the team includes 50 players distributed into four different age categories approved by the competition, namely: general, youth, beginners, and other two younger age categories.
Al-Tawheed, who is also a member in the GCC organizing committee, added that 12 Kuwaiti players will participate in the general category competition, while other 12 will take part in the youth category.
Meanwhile, 10 players will join the beginners category and the remaining 16 players will participate in the young age categories.
