Iran\'s wrestling national team managed to top 2012 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Cup for the third successive year. Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers crashed Turkish practitioners 5-2 in Saransk town, Russia on Sunday. The Iranian team managed to reach the finals after overpowering Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan. In the final round, Iranian wrestlers Hamid Sourian in the (55-kg) category, Omid Norouzi in the (60-kg), Saeed Abdevali in the (66-kg), Taleb Ne\'matpour in the (84-kg), and Davoud Gilneirang in the (96-kg) managed to overpower their Turkish rivals. Hadi Alizadeh-Pournia in the (74-kg) class and Reza Qasemi in the (120-kg) lost to their rivals. Iran had won the Greco-Roman world cup earlier in 2010 in Armenia and 2011 in Belarus. Last week, the Iranian free style wrestling team also won the 2012 FILA Freestyle Wrestling World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, after defeating the hosts in the final of the games.
