The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF).

The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, President of BREEF in the presence of a number of Board members.

His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa welcomed the members of the Board, appreciating the great efforts exerted by them to improve the federation’s administrative aspect and developing equine sport in the Kingdom.

His Highness commended the great support provided by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Honourary President of the Federation, which has motivated the Board and all followers of equine sport in the Kingdom to achieve the means required to advance this ancestral sport and to continue its march of triumph.

"The launch of the Endurance and Show Jumping competitions this season and the remarkable results of the competitors herald a distinct season from the administrative and technical standpoints," His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa said, wishing all the participants and studs the best of luck and success.

Furthermore, the participants discussed the items on the agenda, including the timetable for the season championships of Endurance, Showjumping and Arabian Horse Shows, as well as administrative and technical matters that contribute to the improvement federation operations.

They discussed participation in the Asian Games to be held in Jakarta, September 2018 and preparations for Bahrain to host the meetings of the General Assembly of the International Federation in November 2018. Also addressed was the request by a company to organise an international Tent Pegging Championship during the National Day celebrations, in addition to the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s licensing requirements for the practice of sports activities.
