The Egyptian national volleyball team on Thursday won the men’s African Nations Championship after defeating Tunisia in a game held at Cairo International Stadium's indoor hall.
The home team, coached by former Italy manager Angelo Frigoni, won 26-24/ 25-18/ 25-21 to claim their sixth consecutive African title, a run that started in 2005.
Both teams are qualified for the Men's World Cup in Japan later this year.
