The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has reached an agreement with Malawi to play a friendly match on Thursday. Before contacting Malawi, Egypt tried to bring Zambia to their training camp in Sudan to fill their empty schedule after Senegal pulled out. Preparing for the international qualifiers, the winners of seven African Cup of Nations (ACN) defeated Cameroon 2-1 on Sunday and they will meet Togo Tuesday night. Under the leadership of American manager Bob Bradley, Egypt will be kicking off their World Cup qualifying campaign against Mozambique on 1 June. Bradley is demanding that the EFA provides another friendly when the team returns to Cairo.
