Algerians Adil Barbari and Azzedine Lagab

Fifteen cyclists, including the two Algerians Adil Barbari and Azzedine Lagab, have been nominated for the 2014 Best African Cyclist Award, announced Saturday the International Cycling Union (UCI).
The two Algerian cyclists are considered among the best African cyclists of this year.
Azzedine Lagab, a member of GS Petroliers is ranked 3rd in UCI ranking with a total of 192 points while his compatriot Adil Barbari is ranked 11th.
Lagab (28 years old) achieved good results this year, including the first place in the 5th and 7th stage of the Tour of Rwanda and the 1st place in the International Cycling Tour of Algiers.  
Regarding Barbari (21 years old), he particularly won the Grand Prize of Oran and first stage of Algeria Cycling Tour 2014.
