Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al-Khalifa

Under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Challenge will kick off this morning, with the Bahrain Royal Endurance Team set to compete.
Their participation in this race is under the directives of team leader Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and is part of the Royal Team’s calendar of international events this year.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Endurance Challenge is considered as one of the biggest races of the year considering the large participation of riders from around the world who wish to achieve top results.
Bahrain Royal Endurance Team leader Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad will be attending the race, while the team’s riders who will compete in the race are Abdulrahman Al Saad on his horse Larzak and Raed Mahmoud riding his horse Samba
On this occasion, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad stressed that these participations come under the team’s programme to participate in various tournaments, after the team’s successful participations in previous races, pointing out that the Royal Team is keen in every season to compete in the best races in different countries and to achieve the best results.
He hoped through the team’s participation in the Mohammed bin Rashid race to achieve the best results, which paves the way for the team to achieve greater things in coming events. He added that the riders aim to achieve the best results in this race, noting that everyone put great confidence in the team members to claim the best results.
He said that the team’s riders have a high level of experience to deal with this race in order to achieve the goals and that they are confident they will be as determined to get a positive result and reach their targets.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad met with the riders of the team in order to identify the venue where the race will be held, stressing that the race venue is perfectly suitable to host endurance competitions due to the flatter ground, noting that the team knows the venue well and the place as well because of their participation in previous competitions.
Meanwhile, the veterinary examination was conducted yesterday at the venue and the organising committee finalised the administrative and regulatory procedures for the exam according to the International Equestrian Federation laws.
