Bahrain today beat Saudi Arabia (22-14) to top Group A in the 16th Asian Handball Championship. Bahrain ended the first half with an advantage of four points (12-8) in the match which was held at Khalifa Sport City in Isa Town. Mahdi Madan, Mahmoud Abdulqader and goalkeeper Mohammed Abdulhussain were by far the best players in the march, sealing the final victory for Bahrain which consolidates its leads and boosts its chances of qualifying to the semi- finals.
