Arab Shooting Championship

Algerian athletes Yamina Lalouette won a gold medal and Houda Chaabi a silver at the 11th Arab Shooting Championship (men and women), in Doha, Qatar (November 10 – 19), the secretary general of the Algerian Shooting Sport Federation (FATAS), Mohamed L'kherba, said Friday.
Yamina Lalouette snatched her gold in 10m air pistol, confirming she is still dominating as she is the title's holder.
The silver medal went to Hinadi Salam (Qatar) and the bronze to Wadha El Balouchi (Oman).
The Algerian athlete will also compete at the 25m pistol event.
In addition, Houda Chaabi, the holder of the African championship title, took a silver medal at the 10m air rifle.
The event's gold medal was won by Meriem Erzouki, from Kuwait, and the bronze by Siham El Hassani, from Oman.
In addition to Algeria, competing with twelve athletes, including four women, the tournament has brought together some 300 athletes, representing Tunisia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon and Qatar (the host country).
