Arab Police Sporting meeting

The 39th general assembly of the Arab Police Sporting Federation got underway here on Monday with the Qatari representative underlining in a keynote statement necessity of boosting coordination among the member states.
Chairman of the Arab and Qatari federations Khalid Al-Atiyya said in his opening speech that this year's meeting will focus on cooperation and experience sharing "in order to achieve all goals." Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah who inaugurated the meeting said that Kuwait is continuously working on developing police sports.
Chairman of Kuwait's Police Sports Federation Waleed Al-Ghanim on his part said that Kuwait was among the first countries to establish the Arab Federation since the idea was presented in 1976.
Kuwait has been participating in different Arab tournaments, as well as social and administrative meetings and conferences of the Arab Federation, he noted.
