The third Arab Karate Championship for Cadets, Juniors and U21 kicked off in Cairo on Saturday, an aide to the sports and youth minister said.

"Egypt welcomes all Arab brothers taking part in the championship," Ashraf Meselhi said.

The Cairo International Stadium will see the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Bahrain, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Libya, Algeria, Qatar, Iraq and Egypt competing.
