Mohamad Al Naggar, teenager Kenneth Vaz and Said Al Kharusi stole the limelight on the final day of the National Day Open Table Tennis Tournament organised by the Indian Social Club Muscat and sponsored by Oman United Insurance Company, bagging a double crown each. Eyptian Mohamad Al Naggar justified his top ranking with a sterling performance to bag a double crown, winning both the open men\'s singles and the men\'s doubles title.  Thirteen-year-old Kenneth Vaz won the shared the limelight with Naggar winning the boys\' under-16 singles title and the men\'s doubles with Naggar. Naggar was put in a splendid show in the men\'s singles final when he outplayed veteran Nitin Vaidya, the No. 2 seed in straight games to win the title.  It was an off-day for Nitin, whose efforts yielded no fruit against Naggar\'s brilliant allround game.  After a comfortable first game, Naggar faced some resistance but was on top of his game to score a brilliant 11-3, 11-9, 11-6, 11-8 victory to lift the title. In the men\'s doubles final, Naggar and tennager Kenneth Vaz rallied from a game down to defeat the second seeded team of Nitin Vaidya and Chandrashekar Nooyi 7-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-9, 11-6 to win doubles crown giving both Naggar and Kenneth a double. Crowd-favourite Said Al-Kharusi of Al Rustaq Club scored a hard-fought 8-11, 12-10, 6-11, 11-3, 11-7, 11-8 victory over Anwar Al Balushi of Ibra to win the Omani Singles crown. Kenneth Vaz continued his domination of the junior category winning the boys\' under-16 singles title.  In a thrilling final, Kenneth defeated his close rival, Avinash Mukund 11-7, 4-11, 11-7, 8-11, 13-11, 12-10 for a double corwn. Ravi Shankar, CEO of Oman United Insurance Company, the main sponsor,  distributed the prizes to the winners.  Other dignitaries present were Jackson Lee of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, S.F.
