Ahly defender Wael Gomaa will miss the second leg match of round 16 of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League against Stade Malien. “Goma’a is undergoing a rehabilitation program and he will need more than two weeks before rejoining the regular training,” The Reds’ Doctor Ehab Ali told Ahram Online. The 36-year-old sustained a knee injury early in the first leg, after a collision with one of Stade Malian players, and he didn’t continue the game.
