Al Ahly qualified for the 2017 Arab Championship's semi-finals after sealing a 2-1 victory on Algeria's NA Hussein Dey in their group stage's match of the 12-team tournament, currently hosted by Egypt.
With six points, Ahly managed to come second in Group A, after Jordan's Al Faisaly that topped the group with seven points.
The Cairo giants snatched the qualifying card as the best performing second-placed side.
