Markel Susaeta has been handed his first call-up to the Spain squad for next week\'s friendly in Panama. The Athletic Bilbao midfielder is a surprise inclusion in Vicente del Bosque\'s side, but has been given his chance following a series of impressive performances at club level. Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has been called up for the second time. He was an unused member of the Spain squad which faced Chile in a friendly last September. Montoya is one of eight Barça players in the line-up, although Xavi has been rested for this match along with Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso. Chelsea striker Juan Mata returns after missing the FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers against Belarus and France, but club team-mate Fernando Torres has been left out. There is no place for Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina either. Spain squad: Goalkeepers: Valdes (Barcelona), Casillas (Real Madrid) Defenders: Montoya (Barcelona), Ramos, Albiol (both Real Madrid), Alba (Barcelona), Juanfran (Atletico Madrid), Martinez (Bayern Munich) Midfielders: Iniesta, Fabregas, Busquets (all Barcelona), Cazorla (Arsenal), Benat (Real Betis), Susaeta (Athletic Bilbao) Forwards: Villa (Barcelona), Pedro (Barcelona), Navas (Sevilla), Soldado (Valencia), Mata (Chelsea).
