Kiev - Arab Today
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has named his strongest possible team for the Champions League last 16, first leg against Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine on Wednesday after controversially making a raft of changes at the weekend.
Fernando is the only player to keep his place from the side that lost 5-1 away to Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday, when Pellegrini introduced a host of untested youngsters to keep his key players fresh for the trip to eastern Europe.
Home coach Sergiy Rebrov is able to call on the services of his chief attacking threat Andriy Yarmolenko, who had been a doubt with a knee injury.
City are bidding to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time after coming undone in the last 16 in each of the last two seasons.
