The 27-year-old Montenegro international had been linked with Tottenham recently, but Juventus were quick to tie up a deal after their general director Giuseppe Marotta spoke with Roma's Walter Sabatini to formalise the move last week. And, having passed his medical on Monday morning, Juventus have announced that the transfer has been finalised. A statement released by the club reads: "Juventus Football Club S.p.A. communicates to have perfected the agreement with A.S Roma S.p.A. for the permanent transfer and the sporting rights of the footballer Mirko Vucinic. The contract states €15m will be paid over three seasons. "Juventus have also signed a contract of four years with the player." Juve coach Antonio Conte finally gets his hands on the striker he has wanted after moves for Sergio Aguero and Villarreal's Giuseppe Rossi failed to materialise. The move now calls the futures of Amauri and Fabio Quagliarella into question. The former Palermo man has been strongly linked with an exit after being left out of the pre-season squad, while Quagliarella is not in Conte's plans. Vucinic leaves the Olimpico after five years, having spent a similar duration at Lecce.
