The 28-year-old was linked with a variety of clubs this summer after his former side were relegated from the Italian top flight. Shakhtar Donetsk, Wolfsburg, Sampdoria and Fiorentina were all associated with the Italian, but it is Bologna who have landed him on a co-ownership basis. A statement on Bologna's official website reads: "Bologna FC 1909 communicates to have reached an agreement with Brescia Calcio for the transfer of Alessandro Diamanti on a co-ownership deal." Diamanti becomes the latest player to join Bologna following the arrivals of goalkeepers Dejan Stojanovic from Lustenau and Federico Agliardi from Padova two weeks ago.
