Sudanese President Omar Hassan el-Basheer is set to launch the project with Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegne. Sudanese economic expert Sayed Ali Zaki said that the idea of electric linkage between Sudan and Ethiopia is going back 30 years, adding that the project aims to support the cooperation between countries with common resources.
