Taichi notebook computer has two screens New York - Agencies Taiwanese computer manufacturer Asus says its Taichi notebook computer has two screens that allow it to act as both a traditional laptop and a tablet computer. Unveiled in New York, the Taichi has two high definition screens, one on the inside of the notebook lid and the other on the outside, ABC News reported Wednesday. The inside screen functions like a regular display. The outer screen is a touchscreen. When closed the Taichi can be used as a tablet, while in the open position it functions as a typical laptop, with the focus placed on the inner screen and keyboard. The Taichi can simultaneously display either the same content on both screens or different content on each, Asus said. The Taichi\'s screens both measure 11.6 inches and the device, running Windows 8, will be offered in different configurations of processors, RAM and storage capacity. Starting at $1,299, the Taichi will be available in November, Asus said.
