Saudi Arabia condemned an attack on a security checkpoint in El Arish city in North Sinai.

In a statement, an official source at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated his country's full support for Egypt in fighting extremism and terrorism.

He offered condolences to the families of the victims as well as the Egyptian government and people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
