Morocco has condemned the Houthi militia's ballistic missile targeting the Saudi capital Riyadh.

The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement said "The Kingdom of Morocco condemns strongly the Houthi militia ballistic missile launching targeting the city of Riyadh, while renewing its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against everything that harms the safety of its territory and the tranquility of its inhabitants."

Morocco also expressed its "deep concern at this dangerous escalation, which would further deepen the Yemeni crisis with its negative impact on the stability of the region."
