The Libyan House of Representatives deplored Friday's explosion near a mosque in Libya’s city of Benghazi that left behind one person dead and 10 others injured, including a former interior minister and his son.
In a statement on Saturday, the council condemned such terrorist attacks that target patriotic figures as it turned out that the attack targeted former interior minister Ashour Shuwayel.
The statement said the recent explosion is meant to hamstring building the State and restoring security in Benghazi which is about to be freed from extremism and terrorism.
