Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam sent a cable of condolences on Sunday to Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz al-Saud, expressing deep sorrow over the victims of the tragic Hajj stampede incident in Mina on Thursday.
Salam also sent cables of condolences to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The number of deaths in the Mina stampede on Thursday rose to 769 while 934 pilgrims were injured in the incident.
