The Jordanian government has condemned the twin suicide attacks that targeted the eastern part of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad on Monday.

Petra News Agency quoted Mohammad Al Momani, Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs and the government spokesman, as expressing Jordan's solidarity with the Iraqi government and people to address terrorism that targets Iraq's security and stability.

The Minister of State for Media Affairs offered the Jordanian government's condolences over the victims of the attacks, voicing Jordan's rejection of terrorism in all its forms.
