An observatory of extremist fatwas affiliated with the Egypt's Dae al Ifta has condemned the explosion that occurred outside a Catholic church during a Christmas Eve mass on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines and left 16 people wounded.
The observatory accused Daesh of plotting the attack, especially following an announcement that the group had formed an emirate on the island early this year.
The observatory stressed the importance of a call by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to form an international union to counter terror groups, atop of which Daesh.
