The German Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Egyptian soldiers in North Sinai on Wednesday and left scores dead and wounded.

A statement issued by the ministry on Thursday offered condolences to the families of the victims who fell in this terrorist attack.

On Wednesday morning, hundreds of militants attacked the army soldiers killing about 17 and wounding many others.

The military spokesman said last night that about 100 terrorist were killed in the attack.
