Fatah spokesman Osama Qawassmeh slammed threats by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to strip 100 Palestinians living in Jerusalem, known as Jerusalemites, of their Jerusalem residency.
"These threats prove the Israeli government has no intention to calm the tension," Qawassmeh told BBC.
He said these threats must be seen as "a continuation of Israel's racist policies."
The spokesman called on the international community to intervene to halt Israel's policies against the Palestinian people.
