Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam has condemned the international community's silence towards the Israeli forces' crimes for a third day inside Islam's third holiest site, al Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, the Mufti said "Israeli terror has become more brutal and free from international deterrent," adding that Israel has violated international laws and charters in such crimes.
For a third day, the Israeli forces were using force in trying to allow Jewish worshipers into the courtyards of the mosque which caused clashes with the Palestinian worshipers inside the holy site.
The irresponsible crimes of Israeli forces and allowing Jewish extremists inside the mosque provoke more than one billion Muslims around the world and increase the hatred and enmity between Muslims and Jews, he said, adding that such irresponsible crimes can refuel conflict in the Middle East region.
