Egypt expressed deepest condolences over the victims of a Pakistani helicopter that crashed earlier on Saturday.

A number of foreign ambassadors in Islamabad and their wives were on board the plane.

"Egypt wishes a speedy recovery for the injured," the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said.
