Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted a security outpost of the Royal Guard in front of Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.

The Foreign Ministry extended sincere condolences to the Saudi Government, people and the bereaved families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The ministry issued a statement reiterating the need for the international community to step up concerted efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.
