Egypt strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place on Monday night in Manama where a number of policemen were injured.

In a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, Egypt voiced solidarity with the Bahraini government and people, asserting it stood besides them in the face of terror.

The statement added that such terrorist actions aim at destabilizing countries and intimidating people.

On Monday, five Bahraini policemen were slightly injured in a terrorist blast outside Manama.
