Egypt has condemned in the strongest terms the twin bombing that took place Saturday night outside Istanbul soccer stadium and left scores dead and injured.

Spokesman for Egypt's Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid reiterated his country's rejection of terrorism, calling on the international community to uproot terror groups.

He further stressed that the Egyptian people are standing by the Turkish people in their calamity, expressing condolences to the families of the victims.
