Cairo - Arab Today
Egypt's Deputy Foreign Minister Hamdy Loza on Thursday deplored hostile policies adopted by Iran towards the Gulf area and attacks launched on the Saudi Arabia's embassy in Tehran.
The diplomat made the remarks while delivering a speech on behalf of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry during the extraordinary meeting of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Council held in Riyadh.
Loza renewed Egypt's support for the measures adopted by Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states to protect their national security.
He called on some regional states to observe their policies and stop interfering in their internal affairs.
Egypt is open to build relations with any party at the regional or international levels provided that it depends on mutual respect away from interference in states' internal affairs, the diplomat said.
The deputy minister reiterated the importance of coordinating efforts to curb the danger of the terrorist groups.
