Egypt on Saturday condemned an overnight terrorist attack in Burkina Faso, which killed scores of innocent civilians.

Egypt mourned all the victims of the attack and asserted its full support for Burkina Faso in the face of terrorism, according to a statement issued by Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zaid on Saturday.

The attack left more than 23 people from different nationalities dead and dozens others injured.
