The Health and Population Minister announced the death of the third Egyptian pilgrim in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening.

The pilgrim, 80, is from Menofiya, the ministry said.

The Health Minister Assistant and Head of Hajj Egyptian Medical Mission Ali Hegazy said that the deceased is named Bakr Soliman Mohamed Bakr, adding that he died of an acute heart attack.

He breathed his last before he was transferred to hospital, the official underlined.
