Al Azhar, the highest Islamic institution in Egypt, condemned Friday's terror attack on a mosque in the Saudi governorate of Al Ahsaa.
A statement issued by Al Azhar on Friday denounced such abhorrent attacks that violate the sanctity of places of worship.
Two persons were killed and seven others injured on Friday after a suicide bomber blew himself up at a mosque in the Saudi governorate of Al Ahsaa.
Another attacker wearing an explosive belt was arrested after clashes with Saudi policemen, according to Al Ekhbariya TV channel.
