Cairo - Arab Today
Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, Arab League Secretary-General, yesterday condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist bombing which targeted a Coptic Cathedral in Cairo.
Mr. Aboul-Gheit, in a statement during his participation in the IISS Manama Dialogue, said that the Arab League is strongly in solidarity with Egypt to face terrorism, which fights it aggressively in the same manner that it stands with all Arab countries who are struggling from this phenomenon.
A spokesman stressed Aboul Gheit’s confidence in the ability of the Egyptian society to 'defeat this evil by all means, wishing all Arab peoples wellness and combating the scourge of terrorism'.
