The Arab League has condemned recent attacks carried out in the Karrada district of Baghdad, killing and wounding a large number of people.
Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, affirmed the body's solidarity with the Iraqi leadership, government and people against brutality that targets innocent civilians.
The Arab League Secretary-General called on world countries to initiate rapid coordination and cooperation to ensure the elimination of these terrorist groups and their thoughts, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The blasts killed 11 and wounded 47 others.
