Arab League (AL) Chief Nabil el Araby condemned on Tuesday the terrorist bombings that targeted three mosques in Iraq.

Such terrorist attacks aim at breaking the unity of the Iraqi people and undermining social peace there, he said.

Araby called on the Iraqi people to close ranks in the coming period to face all forms of terrorism and extremism.

He also praised efforts exerted by the Iraqi government to wipe out terrorism in the Arab country.
