Cairo - Arab Today
The Arab Peoples and Parliaments Organization on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack that killed Brigadier Adel Ragai two days ago outside his house.
Head of the organization Abdel Aziz Abdullah said that targeting members of the Armed Forces and police, who are defending the security of the homeland, is a cowardly act attesting that the perpetrators are void of any national or humanitarian values.
These acts of terrorism will not sap the determination of the Egyptians in fighting terrorism and defending the nation, he added.
Brig-Gen. Adel Ragai was the commander of the army 9th armored division headquartered in the military base of Dahshour west of Cairo. He had recently served in the northern part of the Sinai Peninsula.
