Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar sent a cable of greetings to Prime Minister Ismail Sherif, wishing him a happy Greater Bairam.

Abdel Ghaffar sent similar cables to Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi, Chief of Staff Mahoumd Hegazi, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb and Egypt's mufti Dr Shawqi Allam.
