Moroccan channel Midi1TV Casablanca - Yousri Moustafa  Dozens of workers at the Moroccan channel Midi1TV protested on Saturday against poor working conditions. They held the protest in front of the channel’s building in the city of Tangier, with workers holding signs condemning their oppression after the management violated its pledges. The channel had dismissed a number of workers and was threatening others with dismissal. Workers who built the reputation of the channel claimed they were badly treated and humiliated. As members of the Union of Moroccan workers, protestors have vowed to carry red signs for three days as an expression of their anger, according to a union report viewed by Arabstoday. The report said: “There is a state of distrust among workers in the channel”. The report also confirmed that workers will start a series of accelerated measures until their issues are resolved, their demands are responded to and the authoritarian management of the channel, which is eliminating initiative, is dealt with.
