Lebanese TV merger Beirut - Arabstoday A year after Future TV and Future News were merged, the merger between Enset and Future TV is set to take place. It is still unclear what staff will stay, while it is expected that those with "low productivity" in both channels are set to be given the pink slip. The number of jubs set to be cut amount to around 300, although there has been no formal announcement due to ongoing negotiations regarding decent compensation packages. Arabstoday was told that a general assembly will be held on December 20 to name a head of the board of directors, expected to be former primem minister Saad El Hariri. Hariri is expected to head the board until April after which his political consultant will take charge.
