Though ageing is a natural process in a woman's life, there are some factors which contribute to the process early...We bust one factor... Even though you might love the winters for getting you home early from work and putting you off to sleep in your cosy bed with the heater near your bed, trust me they also cause a lot of harm. We all know that during the winters we need to follow a thorough skin care regime. But, it is very important to pay special attention to your eyes. Eyes reflect age the first. Scientists hae found that the winter months add about an average of four years to a woman's eyes. Sunlight during the winters makes the skin appear paler which in turn emphasises the bags under the eyes. This problem is made worse by a higher level of fatigue during the cold months due to a lower level of vitamin D which is generated in sunlight and is directly linked to the body's levels of serotonin. A study conducted at AMA labortatories in New York suggested that they found at least 82 per cent of women suffer from dark circles and puffy eyes in the winters as compared to the summers. Science suggests that the lack of vitamin D and K is one of the causes that plague women with dark circles.
