West Midlands Police said that a man has been arrested at Gatwick Airport over Syria-related terrorism offences, The Independent reported Monday. 

The 24-year-old was arrested before boarding a flight.

A 20-year-old woman has also been arrested over Syria-related offences in west London. 

The pair are being held at a police station in the West Midlands.
