Malawi President Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika today died of heart attack. The 78-year-old leader was rushed to hospital in Lilongwe on Thursday after collapsing but was dead on arrival, sources said.
Deputy President Joyce Banda will take over as head of state as stipulated in the constitution.
