Two German tourists were killed in Hurghada knife attack, the spokeswoman for the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday.

The German embassy staffers left for the place of the attack, the spokeswoman said in a statement distributed by the German embassy in Cairo, adding that the staffers are in contact with the Egyptian authorities.
