A fire ravaged at least 18 kiosks in Cakung, East Jakarta, yesterday evening but there was no immediate report of casualties or material damage. By Saturday evening, firefighters were still struggling to put out the blaze which broke out, a spokesman of the East Jakarta fire department said. The cause of the fire was still unknown. The fire was the second major blaze to occur in the capital in four days, Indonesia's News Agency (Antara) reported. Earlier, on Wednesday, a fire gutted seven shops in Palmerah, Central Jakarta. But no fatalities or injuries were reported.
