Germany's Henri Junghaenel won Germany's second Rio Olympics shooting title, securing men's 50m rifle prone gold on Thursday at the Deodoro range.

In silver came Kim Jong-Hyun of South Korea, with Russian Kirill Grioryan the bronze.

Junghaenel's success came 24 hours after his compatriot Barbara Engleder became Germany's first ever female shooting Olympian, with gold in the 50m rifle 3 position
